And, was that a mouse?
No, it was Erin the Pink Panther,
sans the whiskers and sporting a matching Vera,
a must for all panthers and mice alike.

Erin's Artwork

I took this photo of Erin's art project this morning. She has been working on this for weeks and stayed up late last night (and many nights before) to complete it. It is made up of hundreds of small pieces of colored paper torn from various magazines. Wow!

Eugene, Oregon

After work today, I took a walk down the bike path that runs along Franklin Blvd in front of my hotel here in Eugene, Oregon. The colors are incredible, much better than these pictures show.

Autzen Stadium, home of the Oregon Ducks, sits across the river from my hotel.

A guy was walking along the river with his chocolate lab and would occasionally toss a tennis ball into the river for the dog to fetch.

This picture doesn't look like all that much, but in the distance is a glimpse of a colorful hillside that is typical of the surroundings here.

This little guy darted up a branch and then posed for me until one of the dozen or so bicyclists I saw zoomed past on the bike path between us.

Not a painting.
Just a snapshot, taken as the sun was setting.

This is my favorite, because it shows the uniqueness of Oregon compared to East Tennessee. The mixture of round, full colors in the foreground with tall evergreens in the background, often surrounded by fog/clouds, is typical of the area.
